NUCLEAR THEATRE NOW HOLDING AUDITIONS FOR A BASSIST



Jacob Tapper, Nuclear Theatres bassist has decided to fulfill his patriotic duty and has enlisted in the armed forces. As such we are holding auditions for a new bassist.

We are looking for non-druggie, non-ego, dynamic playing bassist that looks the part of a metal bass player. Must be willing to learn and play in the style of Nuclear Theatre with an edge similar to Geezer Butler.

If you are serious about music, dedicated, honest, dependable, and hard working then you may be the perfect fit for N.T. If you are interested in trying out for N.T. please email Mike @ nucleartheatre@hotmail.com. Please put Bassist in the subject header. Tryouts will be held until we find a bassist that we feel will work best with the band. Nuclear Theatre is based out of Stoughton, Massachusetts and practices are held on Saturday Nights and one or two nights per week during the week. So You should live close enough to the Stoughton area that this will not be a problem. Serious applicants only please.

BAND UPDATE: 03 FEBRUARY 10

It has been a long summer/fall for the band due to sickness and personal issues. The band just had their first gig in a while and will soon be in the studio recording new material. We will also hopefully resume doing gigs in the next month or so and will hopefully have quite a few shows coming into the spring. Stay tuned for more details as they become available.

THE BAND IS BUSY GETTING READY FOR THEIR DATE AT THE RECORDING STUDIO ON NOV. 29th. ONCE WE HAVE THE MASTERS IN HAND WE WILL BE HANGING AT LEAST A FEW OF THE SONGS ON OUR MYSPACE SITE. YOU WILL BE ABLE TO ACCESS THEM BY CLICKING ON THE HEAR OUR MUSIC LINK ON THE KICK LINK BOX, SO YOU WILL BE ABLE TO CHECK THEM OUT. ONCE THAT IS OUT OF THE WAY THE BAND WILL BEGIN LOOKING FOR VENUES TO PLAY, AND WE WILL ALSO BE SETTING UP OUR ONLINE STORE. THE BAND WILL OFFICIALLY CHANGE ITS NAME TO NUCLEAR THEATRE BY THE BEGINNING OF THE YEAR BUT WE WILL ALSO KEEP THIS SITE GOING. BAND UPDATE: 27 OCTOBER 08

Just a quick update on the band. The members of WARHEAD are busy working on their first cd. The group is not a cover band, all songs are origionals, and they will be hitting the studio during the month of November. Bill is a founding member of Warhead back in the 80's, and Greg has been with him for some time now. They have been joined by Gary MacDougall, an awesome drummer, and Jacob Tapper on the Bass Guitar. They have been practicing and learning the new material since March of this year, and their style is Kick-Ass to say the least. Once the studio sessions are out of the way we will start looking for venues for them to play. Also, once the CDS are complete, they will be available for purchase on our website at www.warhead.bravehost.com. We will hopefully also be able to link up and sell them directly through our myspace page, www.myspace.com/wearewarhead if possible.
The band origionally began in the mid 1980's and were known as Bostons Warhead, but with so many bands using the name warhead at the moment, once the band has played a few gigs and has begun to re-establish itself the band will officially change its name to NUCLEAR THEATRE. We will be hanging a couple of Bills (lead guitar)practice jams on myspace so that you will get a bit of a taste of exactly how versatile he is on lead guitar. The band is a Heavy Metal band, and while these jams in no way indicate the style of music that will be played by the band, it gives a small sampling of how good he is. Stay tuned for more details.
